DESCRIPTION 

Our team served as the General Contractor to install approximately 2,300 feet of 42” Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer Pipe (FRPP) and 12” PVC Forcemain.

SCOPE OF WORK 

Our team was responsible for selective site demolition, extensive dewatering, sewer installation and site restoration. Throughout the project, the Port of Everett was developing the site with another contractor. We coordinated with the City of Everett, WSDOE, the Port of Everett, and the Port of Everett’s General Contractor to minimize disruptions to the development of the area.  During the excavation for the 42” FRPP, an extensive amount of unknown buried obstructions were encountered potentially impacting the project schedule. Our team worked with the City of Everett to deliver the project on time despite these circumstances.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• 2300 feet of 42” FRPP Pipe on average of 14-18 feet deep including a 12” Forcemain in the same trench
• Extensive dewatering by use of well points and conveyance of groundwater for treatment
