DESCRIPTION 

Our team was the General Contractor for this housing development project. With an increase in people working from home and moving away from Seattle, housing on the outskirts of the Seattle Suburbs has become vital to the area. Eaglemont provides 46 new single-family homes, new roads and sidewalks, and a large outdoor recreation area.

SCOPE OF WORK

We were responsible for the site development and utility installation. The 9-acre site was a wooded private residence prior to the development, covered in trees and shrubs. During the site development, over 1,200 vehicles tires were discovered in the grade. Site utilities included ductile iron, PVC, and HDPE pipe installation. The biggest challenge to this project was coordinating the fallout of the COVID-19 supply chain issues. Additionally, we worked through one of the wettest rainy seasons ever with 32% more rain than average.

• 19,000 cubic yards of excavation for storm drainage vaults
• Two storm drainage storage vaults to hold 1,239,600 gallons
• Installation of storm, sewer, water, road, and sidewalk infrastructures
• 46,000 square feet soil amendments to roads and structural fills
