DESCRIPTION

Our team served as an early integrated delivery partner to deliver earthwork excavation and utility installation for an 18-building apartment complex. Surrounded by sensitive equipment and roadways, in a dense urban University campus environment, our team mitigated disruptions to campus life, public transit, and the community-at-large while ensuring the project remained on schedule and budget.

SCOPE OF WORK

We played a major role in starting the project by clearing the existing land, grading the site, installing complex sewer systems, and excavating building foundations. We coordinated with the city to minimize impacts to the public while connecting water and sewer systems on a major roadway.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• 15-20 feet below-grade excavation for 18 sewer tanks from 8,000 gallons to 15,000 gallons
• Excavation and shoring for 19 different 70’ x15’ infiltration trenches with washed rock and fabric
