DESCRIPTION 

Our team performed the sitework that transformed a former park and city streets into a five-story inpatient tower integrated into the existing hospital campus.

SCOPE OF WORK 

We were responsible for the demolition, erosion control, utility installation (water/storm/sewer), right-of-way night work, shoring support, underground parking excavation, export of excess soils, structural excavation, surface improvements, MEP trenching, and traffic control work for the new campus and medical tower.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Executed complex logistic plans to reconfigured roads, pedestrian routes, building entries and parking garage entries to redirect traffic around construction work zones while maintaining campus circulation
• Excavated and exported approximately 33,000 cubic yards of excess soils
• Installed 4,000+ linear feet of utilities
• Completed NE 10^th St & 116^th Ave NE Intersection work during the night to minimize impacts on the community
• Installed 150’ of continuous 18” welded storm pipe inside 24” casing under the building footprint
• Performed all work while keeping the hospital open and operational
