DESCRIPTION 

Northwest Construction, Inc. has been engaged as the subcontractor to undertake comprehensive responsibilities encompassing project site excavation, grading, and utility installation. Our team will be responsible for the installation of a new mainline watermain, an infiltration storm system, sewer connections, foundation excavation, and site grading. To achieve project site balance and prepare a foundation exceeding 115,000 square feet for a warehouse, our team will import 20,000 cubic yards of material. Close collaboration with the general contractor is integral to ensure the seamless installation of all underground utilities before the commencement of building construction.

SCOPE OF WORK 

Our team is tasked with excavating and removing more than 40,000 cubic yards of material from the site to facilitate the installation of the storm vault and infiltration galleries. This excavated material will be strategically used to achieve a balanced project site, paving the way for the initiation of the building foundation. Additionally, we will install over 1,000 linear feet of on-site watermain to cater to water service and fire protection needs around the new building.

An additional challenge involves navigating the installation of utilities in the roadway to connect the on-site water system, ensuring a seamless water supply to the project. Our team is committed to coordinating with the public to minimize any potential disruptions during this phase.
